Sports Diary for this week - September 4-10

After sealing the two-match ODI series by 2-0, Sri Lanka will continue their white-ball tour to Zimbabwe with the three Twenty20 Internationals set for this week, while locally the SLC U-23 Emerging Club Championship continues this week as well.

The second leg of the 79th Bradby Shield rugby encounter between Royal College and Trinity College will be played this Saturday (6) at the Royal College Sports Complex with the kickoff set for 4:00pm.

Sri Lanka will host Maldives for an international friendly football series against Maldives on Saturday (6) and Tuesday (9) with both matches scheduled to be played at the Racecourse ground in Colombo.

The finals of the 53rd AVI Junior Badminton Championship 2025 will be held across four venues in and around Colombo from Friday (5) to Tuesday (9).
