Sports Diary for this week

The three-match T20 series between the visiting India and Sri Lanka will begin on Saturday (27) at Pellekele, followed by the second game on Sunday (28) and the third and final game on Tuesday (30) at the same venue.

The ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2024, where eight teams battle out for the regional T20 silverware, has reached the semi-final stage with host Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh qualifying.

The first semi-final will be played between India and Bangladesh at 2:00pm on Friday, followed by the second qualifier between Sri Lanka and Pakistan at 7:00pm the same day at Dambulla.

The Dialog Schools Rugby League continues with the seventh week fixtures with a game scheduled for Friday (26), five on Saturday (27), and two on Sunday (28).

The halted SLC Major League Limited Overs 2024 competition resumed this week, following the completion of the Lanka Premier League.
