Athletics: IAAF Level 1 Coaching course 2017
The above coaching course was held at Gampaha Sri Bodhi Sports Complex from 6 to 17 March, 2017, Ria Lumintuarso, Director from Asian Athletics Regional Development Center, at Jakarta, was conducted this course with Assistant Coaches Prasanna Perera (Athletic coach Ministry of Sports) and Jayalal Rathnasooriya (Physical Education Teacher ).
This course full residential coaching course participant accommodated at Football Federation Training Center at Sri Bodhi Ground, Gampaha and coaches were at Wet Water Hotel, Gampaha.
Twenty four athletics coaches participated in this course.
International Athletes Damayanthi Dharsha, Mahesh Perera, and many more International Athletes and coaches also followed this course.
Two Sports Ministry coaches, two provincial council sports officers, physical Education Teachers, Army, Navy, Police STF coaches, and volunteers were among them.
