The Western Province Badminton Association (WPBA) Inter-Club Team Badminton Championship will be held on February 10-12 at the S. Thomas' College Sports Complex, Mt Lavinia.
The WPBA is an affiliate of the Sri Lanka Badminton Association (SLBA) and is also one of the most active and popular Badminton Associations in Sri Lanka.
Since its formation in 1973, the WPBA has conducted its Inter-Club Team Championship among its member clubs.
With the passage of time, new teams joined the Championship, and became the most popular Badminton event in the WP.
Clubs and Institutions in the WP, and even non-members, are able to take part in this tournament. All players should be residents of the WP.
Winners and Runners-up receive Certificates, Medals and Gifts. The organising committee has also decided to award cash prizes to the winners.
Entries will close on February 3, 2017 and should be handed over to the WPBA's Tournament Secretary or its General Secretary.
