The Masters Basketball Sri Lanka (MBSL) will conduct the 2nd Schools Old Boys and Old Girls Semi League Tournament, commencing during the weekend June 5 and 6, 2015 at the MCA Basketball Court in Colombo. The League Stage of the tournament will continue every weekend in June, (13/14, 20/21 and 27/28) at the MCA. MBSL is planning to conduct the Semi-Finals and the Finals at a selected Indoor Court on July 4 and 5 under lights. The age categories for the Men are Over 35, Over 40 and Over 50 while for the Women are Over 28 and Over 35. Entries are invited from teams made up of the Old Boys and Old Girls of same school and will close on Sunday (31). In the inaugural Tournament held last year at the MCA, Old Antonians, Wattala won the Men’s Over-35 final, beating Old Devans. Old Sokians Ambalangoda won the Men’s Over-40 final beating Old Sebastianites while Old Peterites Bambalapitiya won the Over-55 final beating the Old Royalists. The Women’s Over-28 tournament was won by Old Paulians who beat Old Presbitarians.
