The 99th Big Match cricket encounter between Trinity College and St. Anthony’s College, which was scheduled to be played on March 11 and 12 at Asgiriya has been postponed due to the passing away of the Asgiriya Mahanayaka Thero.
Trinity College authorities confirmed that the Big Match has been postponed but the new dates for the encounter has not yet been finalised.
However, the Big Match between St. Sylvester’s College and Vidyartha College to be played at Pallekele on the same dates will go on as planned according to authorities of both schools.
