Cricket: Chandimal to lead SL at warm-up game against Bangladesh

Dinesh Chandimal has been appointed as skipper of the Sri Lanka team for the two-day warm-up match against Bangladesh which will be played today (3) and tomorrow (4) at Moratuwa.

The squad of 15 players includes mostly newcomers to main stream cricket.

The first Test between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will begin from March 7 at Galle.

Sri Lankans squad for warm-up game: Dinesh Chandimal (Capt), Irosh Samarakkody, Ron Chandraguptha, Avishka Fernando, Leo Fransisco (wk), Kamindu Mendis, Wanidu Hasaranga, Roshene Silva, Kavinda Kulasekera, Romesh Buddhika, Chamika Karunaratne, Lahiru Samarakoon, Uditha Madushanka, Praveen Jayawickrama, Lasith Ambuldeniya.
