Stylish right handed batsman late Wirantha Fernando and all-rounder Pemlal Fernando played in the inaugural Sri Lanka-Pakistan Under-19 cricket encounter for the Ali Bhutto Trophy captained by the late Anura Ranasinghe which Sri Lanka won.
