The Selection Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), headed by Sanath Jayasuriya, has tendered its official resignation according to the Ministry of Sports.
The Ministry of Sports, issuing an official statement, stated that the SLC Selection Committee, headed by Jayasuriya and its members Ranjith Madurasinghe, Rumesh Kaluwitharana, Asanka Gurusinha and Eric Upashantha has officially tendered their resignation to the Minister of Sports, Dayasiri Jayasekara through a combined letter.
According to the letter the tenure of the incumbent SLC Selection Committee will come to an end on September 7.
