Twenty four Men's and eleven Women's teams will lock horns at Havelock Park on August 13 for the 5th Walkers-CASE Cricket Challenge Trophy 2016 to test their strength on cricket foundations.
The YCF Cricket Sixes was first launched in 2012 in a modest scale with a few member companies participating in a six-a-side softball tournament.
Since then this annual event grew to become a key event in the construction calendar.
In this year's edition 34 Men's and Women's teams from 24 companies will take part and in the Men's event 24 teams will be slotted into four groups with 6 teams in each group and 10 Women's teams will play in two groups with 5 teams in each in the preliminary league rounds.
Men's League:
Group 'A': Kent Engineers, Access Engineering, Nem Construction, CML-MTD Walkers, KD Ebert and Sons Holdings, Nawaloka Construction
Group 'B': Sieera Construction, ELS Construction, Tissa Builders, CML-MTD Construction, LH Piyasena, RH Holdings
Group 'C': Maga Engineering, KDA Weerasinghe, Frigi, Hovael Construction, ICC, VV Karunaratne
Group 'D': Trio Construction, Chanaka Metal, Tudawe Bros., Sanken Conatruction, Edward & Christie, Nuwani Construction
Women's League:
Group 'A': Nuwani Construction, Sierra Construction, Kent Engineers, KDA Weerasinghe, CML-MTD Construction
Group 'B': VV Karunaratne, ELS Construction, Hovael Construction, Nawaloka Construction, KD Ebert & Sons Holdings
