Lebanon struck first in the eighth minute through their skipper Livu Cribotarive, from a penalty that was awarded.
With rain coming down heavily the game remained a close battle after Sri Lanka retaliated but without success.
Lebanon struck their second goal from a penalty as Hila Alhewal made a successful kick to the goal, to lead 2-0 at halftime.
After the turnaround the home team made all possible efforts to strike back, but they were thwarted by the Lebanese, who sealed the game 3-0 from a late goal from Alhewal.
