After two straight defeats Sri Lanka turned out with a solid performance to hold Macau to a 1-all draw in the Asia AFC Solidarity Cup Football Championship at the Sarawak Stadium in Kuching, Malaysia on Wednesday (9).
Sri Lanka took off with an early goal from Kavindu Ishan and held on to the lead till the 85th minute before Macau equalized through Voi Wein.
While the competition moves on with the semi-finals between Macau and Brunei and Nepal and Mongolia, Sri Lanka will fly back home with a record of two losses and a draw in three games.
