The annual Club Championship of the Victoria Golf and Country Resort will be held at Digana, Kandy on the weekend of July 30 and 31.
The tournament, sponsored by Orange Electricals, will feature around 60 players who are regularly competing at the VGCR course with membership status.
The competition is played for the Club Championship.
Amrith de Soysa, who had won the title twice, is the defending champion.
who claimed the title twice, in 2010 and in 2015. Allan Gyi won the trophy in 2009.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
Update: Five of the twelve passengers on board the bell 212 aircraft that crashed into the Maduru Oya today, have succumbed to their injuries, the SLAF said.
