The Women's team of the newly formed Masters' VIP Hockey Association (MVIPHA) emerged winners at the recently concluded Vijaya Hockey Tournament conducted at Edward Park, Matale.
The MVIPHA, established recently, comprises Men and Women who have played the game at Regional and National levels.
MVIPHA fielded three Men's and two Women's teams for this tournament and one of their Men's teams qualified for the quarter-finals.
The teams are coached by Thilak Wimalasinghe and Nadarajah Paraneetharan and managed by Thilak Wimalasinghe.
