Textured Jersey (TJ) and DIMO will debut in the MCA ‘Big League’, when the 24th Singer-MCA Premier League 2017 gets under way this weekend.
TJ and DIMO earned their due promotions as Winners and Runners-up respectively, in the ‘B’ Division last season.
They are led by Sri Lanka (SL) fast bowler, Dhammika Prasad and young Matheesha Perera respectively.
TJ played their first game on the opening day on Saturday (10), against Sampath Bank at Surrey Village, while DIMO too, was billed to play on the opening day against defending champions, MAS Active Trading at FTZ Grounds, Katunayake.
Today, MAS Unichela will take on HNB at the P. Sara Oval and Commercial Credit & Finance will meet John Keells at the Moratuwa Stadium.
The League Stage of 28 matches will end on October 1, 2016.

In the League Stage, the eight teams will play Round Robin in a single Group, consisting 28 matches, from September to October 1, 2016
At the completion of the Round Robin stage, the Group leader will be declared the 'League' winner.
In the Knockout Stage, the eight teams will be slotted into the draw according to their position in the League Table of Points.
The tournament, with seven matches including the final, will be held on October 8 with the quarter-finals.
The semi-finals will be held on October 15 and 16 followed by the final on October 23.
In the Twenty20, a new draw will be held for this tournament conducted on a Knockout format, with seven matches, scheduled for October 26 with the quarter-finals, followed by the semi-finals on October 28 and the final on October 30.
