Sri Lanka Netball Federation has decided to hold new national pool selection trials to be held on May 24 and 25 at the Gampaha Ratnavali Balika Indoor Stadium commencing at 9.00am each day.
Earlier Sri Lanka Netball Federation had allocated May 20 as a trial date but the dates were again rescheduled after the sudden change of the weather pattern of the country.
Trials will be held in preparation for the 10th Asian Senior Netball championship scheduled to be worked-off from July 30 to August 7 in Thailand.
Earlier a pool of 18 players were selected but with the intervention of the Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekera it was dissolved on the grounds of imposing an age limit of under 30.
The new pool selections opens the window for any netball player to take part as there will be no age limit.
