Kandy SC defeated Police SC by 34-9 in the first round match of the Dialog Division 'A' Inter-Club League Rugby Championship 2016 played at Nittawela today (26).
The winners led 17-9 at halftime and added 17 more points in the second half while not allowing their opponents to score during that phase.
Kandy's points tally came through five tries, three conversions and a penalty while Police scored off three penalties.
