The vibrant ‘Bradby Fiesta 2015’ hosted by the Royal College Union will get underway on May 23 at the Bloomfield and Racecourse grounds starting from 11.00am until midnight. “The motive behind Bradby Fiesta is to welcome the troops and supporters of Trinity College from Kandy and to give space for the two schools to fuse together in the true spirit of Bradby. We are making every effort to make the 71st rugby encounter between Royal and Trinity memorable,” Upali Gunasekara, the Principal of Royal College stated. The Bradby Fiesta will take on a carnival atmosphere throughout the day with many activities for visitors and supporters, including live screenings of the Bradby Shield encounter, for Rugby fans to cheer their favourite team from the outskirts of the Royal Sports Complex. In addition, the fiesta will also include a play area for kids with fun games, a hawker street with food stalls from leading hotels and restaurants offering mouthwatering cuisines and beverages, live music and papare bands with a grand fireworks display to celebrate the victory. HSBC will partner the event as main sponsor and official credit card partner. The event is also supported by Nestle, Coca Cola, Atlas, Ceylon Cold Stores and Amana Takaful Insurance.
