A strong team representing the famous Australian New South Wales Waratahs will play a friendly rugby game against current Dialog Division ‘A’ League leaders Kandy SC at Nittawela SC on Saturday (17) at 4.30pm. The Waratahs compete in the top Australian Division, Super 12 and Super 14 rugby championships and it is one of the strongest feeders to their national team. This match will replace the postponed Dialog Division ‘A’ second round match between Kandy SC and CH&FC which was to be held on the same date after CH&FC had requested for a postponement.
