Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) today (Nov 29) announced its 16-member squad for a two-match Test series in Pakistan in December.
Issuing a statement, SLC said the team will leave for Pakistan on December 8 to take part in the two-Test series conducted under the ICC Test Championship.
The matches will be played in Rawalpindi from December 11 – 15 and in Karachi from December 19 to 23.
Sri Lanka is the last foreign team to have toured Pakistan for a Test Series before they were ambushed in a terrorist attack near the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore in 2009. Since then, no country has played Test cricket in Pakistan.
