Chinese cueists Wong Yu Chen won the Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship when he overcame Rtchayothin Yotharuck of Thailand by 6 frames to 5 in a closely contested final held at the Ramada Hotel in Colombo on Tuesday (8).
Yu Chen was given a close fight by Yotharuck in a tight battle which extended into 11 frames.
The eventual winner won the final with frame scores of 24/64, 74/0, 0/82, 65/36, 71/34, 0/88, 72/39, 60/37, 0/87, 6/59 and 73/43.

A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
