The Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) will hold its Learn to Swim programme from August 3 to 7 at its club premises. What is termed an an excellent opportunity for both adults and children, the three-day programme will be held during the five days from 4.00pm to 5.00pm daily. The programme will be conducted by experienced swimming coaches Mahesh Karunaratne, Priyantha Karunaratne, Julian Dias Bandaranayake, Poornima de Silva, Ranil Goonasena and Mike Anthonez. Registrations close on the July 31 at 6.00pm and forms are available with the pool attendants present at the SSC pool. Registrations fees are Rs.1,500 per head and are open to both members and non-members so head on over to the club, sign up and start swimming.
