Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation selected a team of 12 player captained by Shehan Lakshitha Bandara of Wennappuwa Joseph Vaz College for the 18th Asian Junior Men's Volleyball Championship 2016 in Chinese Taipei from July 9 to 17.
Conducted by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) this tournament will be participated by 16 countries.
Sri Lanka will play in Group 'D' along with South Korea, Bahrain and Vietnam.
At the games in 2014 Sri Lanka occupied 11th position amongst 18 countries and Iran winning the championship with China finishing second.
