Jade Bolling made Sri Lanka proud by representing the country as the Lanka Powerboat Association (LPA) ambassador at the 89th General Assembly of the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) in Fujairah, Dubai from October 17 to 23.
Jade, aged 13, the newly appointed LPA ambassador, attended the assembly to give a presentation about her Junior Powerboat training.
This is the first time Sri Lanka has been asked to take part in the Assembly, and the first child to present in front of the UIM committee.
During her stay in Fujairah, Jade was asked to demonstrate her newly acquired skills alongside junior prop-stars at Fujairah Marine Club, in front of an esteemed audience, including the Prince of Fujairah, President of the UIM and the Sports Minister.
