UN Special Rapporteur Clément Nyaletsossi Voule concluded his visit to Sri Lanka today and addressed a media gathering in Colombo. The UN envoys visit was to assess rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association in the country.
The Presidents’ Entitlements (Repeal) Bill under which benefits for former Presidents would be reduced has been gazetted.
