Reggie Candappa awards returns

The Reggie Candappa Creative Awards will be held for the third year of reward and recognition for the cream of Sri Lanka's ad talent.

The organisers said in a press release that entries are now open for the country's premier industry exposition of talent where the year's best creative ideas are judged by the best creative directors in the industry.

The Reggie Candappa Creative Awards is organized by the Reggie Candappa Foundation for the Arts and is open to all agencies, production houses, individuals and freelancers involved in advertising and allied fields.

Entries will close on the November 15 wth the awards ceremony and exhibition of submissions scheduled for December 7, the statement said.

The "Reggie Candappa Creative Awards" celebrate the life and times of advertising doyen Reggie Candappa. Widely considered the godfather of the Sri Lankan advertising industry, Candappa is credited with nurturing and inspiring a generation of advertising professionals whose creativity fuels the industry today.
