Swiss National Day

The Swiss Circle Sri Lanka, established in 1933, celebrated recently the Swiss National Day at the Continental Hotel in Colombo. The Swiss Embassy was represented by Yves Nicolet, First Secretary who conveyed in his speech the greetings of the Swiss government to the Swiss community in Sri Lanka. Thomas Daetwyler, President of the Swiss Circle, emphasized on preserving the traditional values of Switzerland and to support the host country Sri Lanka wherever possible. Nearly 100 members and guests enjoyed the evening with their fellow compatriots and friends.
