X’ Perimenting Down Under

Popular band Sohan and the X' Periments last week embarked on a seven weeks tour of Australia with Ronnie Leitch and Corrine Almeida. 'We will be performing in almost all main cities Down Under. This includes two concerts four dances and a sing- along show' said Sohan Weerasinghe, the leader of the X' Periments.

The band will come alive in Brisbane on July 4, 'Thomian Rugby Ball' in Melbourne on July 17, 'Ananda 2008' in Moorabin on July 19, Sydney Concert on July 29, 'CCC Ball' in Flemington on July 26, 'Wijitha'a exclusive Sing - along Party' in Baconsfield on August 1 and Farewell Concert in Melbourne on August 2.
Sohan and the X' Periments is also planning to release their latest CD, titled 'Colombo Carnival' in Melbourne .

Six track 'Colombo Carnival' features Disco Mix, Sound of Salsa, Baila Time, Oldies Sing - along Lets Rock n' roll, Back to the Seventies, Latino Fiesta and CVool cool Swing.

The X' Periments now comprises Sohan (lead vocals)Yasmin de Silva (vocals), Nevullee Davidson (guitar/vocals), Shobi Perera (bass/vocals), Marian Francis (drums/vocals), Nuwan Galappaththi (keyboards) and Nishantha Siriwardena (ethnic percussion)
