Trade Finance Association of Bankers picks new EXCO
 
The new office bearers of the Trade Finance Association of Bankers

The Trade Finance Association of Bankers recently picked its new Executive Committee at the 11th AGM.
The association is actively engaged in, imparting knowledge and the necessary skills to its members by conducting seminars, lectures, discussions, workshops etc., on a wide range of topics relating to international trade.

The new committee is: President - Parama Dharmawardene, DFCC Vardhana Bank PLC; Senior Vice President - Reshanka Abayasekara, HNB; Vice President - Azam Omerdeen, NDB Bank; Secretary-General - Nilam Usoof Jumat, HNB; Asst. Secretary - Felix Perera, Standard Chartered Bank; Treasurer - Ms. Manoji Hettigoda, Sampath Bank; Asst. Treasurer -Roshan Fernando, HSBC; Immediate Past President Gaya Manamperi, Sampath Bank and Editor - P. Weerasinghe, Bank of Ceylon.

Council members: A. Kathiravelupillai, Banking & Finance Consultant; Michael Pieris, Union Bank of Colombo; Nihal Premasiri, People’s Bank; Duminda Kurukulasuriya, Commercial Bank; Manjula Gunawardena, NDB Bank; Ms Indika Samarasekera, Sampath Bank, Ms Srini Dharmawardena, People’s Bank; Ms Navamali De Silva, NTB; Christo Dhambarage, HNB; Himath Kithsiri, CitiBank; Ranjith Haputhanthri, Bank of Ceylon and Susantha Fernando, Seylan Bank PLC.
