Comtronics Lanka Private Ltd, provided the required infrastructure for the Media Centre at the recent SAARC Summit in Colombo.

Powering over 200 computers at the main SAARC media centre, and the mini-media centre at the Trans Asia Hotel, Comtronics provided media personnel with the needed systems and services to quickly process and send across information to their respective agencies, the company said. In ensuring dependability, Comtronics also had a series of backup computers ready to be dispatched. This was complemented by the platoon of engineers who were on call, ready to fix even the most minor of glitches at a moments notice.

Comtronics Marketing Manager, M. Suffiyan said, "This was a major project for us, it was a challenge, but at the same time it was an opportunity to make Sri Lanka proud. We couldn't afford to have any breakdowns".
