Swarnavahini to hit with ‘Reality 7 ’

‘Swarnavahini' is to introduce a series of new programmes for the audience who love reality television shown every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Starting from mid- October, ‘Reality 7’, the series will be telecast at 7.00 pm and focus on areas namely comedy, singing, imitating celebrities and promote various talents of youngsters under the titles Comedy Star, Singing Star, Shadow Star and Loving Star.

The programme is directed by Buddhika Kulasekara and it is projected to have close contact with the audience which is to play a decisive role in contributing to the selection process by expressing their choice of contestants through SMS. The winners will walk away not only with prizes worth millions of rupees but also by becoming well known celebrities in society.

‘Comedy Star’ will be telecast on Mondays at 7.00 pm and Anusha Sanjeewa Edirimuni is the programme's Executive Producer while young Jayantha Atapattu will host the segment. Veteran actor Roy de Silva and other stars will be part of the Comedy Star panel.

Exclusively produced by Sajeewa Prathapasinghe 'Singing Star' will be telecast on Tuesdays at 7.00 pm and singer Rajiv Sebastian and other popular vocalists will be part of the Singing Star panel.

'Shadow Star', which will discover people who could imitate famous characters and celebrities, will be telecast every Wednesday at 7 pm. Kavinda Suren is the programme's Executive Producer while popular actress Anusha Damayanthi will host the segment. Jayasekara Aponsu, Mahendra Perera and other popular stars will be part of the Shadow Star panel.

‘Loving Star’ is to be telecast on Thursdays at 7 pm and Okshan Wijethunge is the segment's Executive Producer while popular model Rozelle Plunkett will host the programme.

This programme will every week highlight the multi talents of four young girls who will try to win the hearts of a celebrity star. This programme will look at the levels of intelligence, dress sense and also talents like singing, dancing and cooking. The celebrity star will select one girl every week.
