Hands off Lanka: Indian columnist

Veteran Indian political commentator Kuldip Nayar has hit out at the Manmohan Singh government’s policy on Sri Lanka, saying New Delhi has no business to interfere in Sri Lanka’s internal affairs.

Describing India’s present stance on Sri Lanka as morally, ethically and politically wrong, Mr. Nayar, an Indian pre-independence freedom fighter and former Rajya Sabha member, says in an exclusive article to The Sunday Times that the Singh government is playing politics that does not serve India’s national interest.
