Two new judges for Kandy High Court

Two new judges have been appointed to the Kandy High Court, following D. S. C. Lekamwasam’s elevation as an Appeal Court judge.

Ratnapura High Court judge Bandula Karunaratne and Anuradhapura High Court judge B. Nambuwasam will take up their Kandy High Court duties when court resumes after the Christmas vacation. According to an unconfirmed report, new appointments are also expected in the District Courts of Kandy.
