Ajahn Brahmavamso arrives

The world renowned meditation teacher Ajahn Brahmavamso has arrived in Sri Lanka to deliver sermons on the Noble Eightfold Path and conduct guided meditation at several centres, during his short stay in Sri Lanka.

The first of two programmes in Colombo will be held at Navarangahala today (Sunday) at 8.30 a.m. He will be at the Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara at 3 p.m. today. The second programme in Colombo will be at the BMICH on January 28 (Wednesday) at 9 a.m. Admission is free.

On January 24 (Saturday) he will conduct his programme at Na-Uyana Monastery in Kurunegala when he will deliver a sermon on ‘The two types of Religion-Revealed and Realised’ (‘Samma Ditthi’) from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

On January 26 (Monday), he will conduct a programme from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Kalutara Bodhi and then travel to Matara for a progamme at the Ellekanda Monastery on Tuesday morning.

Ajahn Brahmavamso will be at the Polgasowita Monastery at Piliyandala on Wednesday afternoon.
