Appeal for Ranga Perera

Rohan Ranga Perera, 18 years old student of St. Joseph’s College, Colombo, who excelled in cricket and swimming, represented under 15 Sri Lanka School Cricket Team at Tri Nations Tournament in 2005. He faced an accident while swimming and is now suffering spinal cord injuries unable to move his hands and legs.

Consultant Neurologist Dr. Geethanjana Mendis recommends to further treatment at Buckinghamshire Hospital, UK, but the sole bread winner of the family who is financially not sound enough to raise this amount of money.

The procedure which is expensive could be performed at The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, United Kingdom and hence the parents seek financial assistance from the general public for the treatment and follow-up care which will cost around Rs. 60 lakhs.

The parents kindly appeal to sports-loving public to contribute credit to A/C No. 1171710, Bank of Ceylon, Peliyagoda.
