Informatics offers new project management course

 

Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), pioneers in IT education, has now come up with another programme in Project Management for professionals. For this purpose IIT has teamed up with Innova Strategies, a Project Management and Business Administration Consultancy organization and signed a partnership agreement during a press briefing last week.

A short course of hands-on training programme of 12 lessons in six weeks, it provides participants the opportunity to accelerate their project management career and related disciplines. Dr (Ms) Madhu Fernando, who facilitates this Project Management programme, is a globally renowned expert in Project Management. Her commitment to project management includes the establishment of the Colombo chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI-USA). She will work with a selected panel of experienced trainers to ensure the highest quality in the programme.

IIT, currently offers undergraduate and post graduate degrees in Sri Lanka through the University of Keele and University of West Minister UK. Innova Strategies founded in 2002 in Melbourne shares the synergies of both organizations. Associate Prof Alfred Perera, IIT; Dr (Ms) Madhu Fernando, Management Consultant and Trainer, Innova Strategies and Ravi Dharmawardane, Consultant Programme Director, IIT participated at the press briefing.
