Lanka Exhibition and Conference Service ( Pvt) Ltd [LECS} which is the leading company engaged in the organizing of exhibitions in Sri Lanka won the prestigious Presidential Award for exhibition organizing at the Travel and Tourism Award ceremony, recently held at the BMICH .
Having started in 2002 , LECS has achieved a tremendous growth during the first six years of its existence, expanding its wings even to the neighbouring countries, Maldives and India too. This high degree of success has been possible purely due to the company’s professionalism and dedication of the staff.
Arjun Dharmadasa, MD of LECS said that they are proud that during a period of severe economic crisis all round, when companies were compelled to curtail their promotional budgets and expect high returns on these limited budgets, LECS was able to work with hundreds of their client companies and produce the expected results.
A few examples of our achievements were “Hotel Show 2008”, “Pro-Food”, and “Construct 2008”. We believe that these products may have contributed positively towards our winning the Presidential Award this year.
