The official website of the Year of English and IT 2009 www.englishandit.lk is a web-site tailored to suit the needs and the vast possibilities of English and IT. This special web-site will monitor and reflect all the relevant activities and events of the year of English and IT.
The special feature of this web-site is that all the stakeholders of the Year of English and ICT, be they students, farmers, teachers, Government officials, Private sector organizations in fact all, will be able to upload their inputs into this web-site.
This special web-site was designed by ICTA's Strategic Media and Communication Unit using free and open source software. This web-site too is available with effect from the moment it was launched in the forenoon of 13 February, 2009 by His Excellency Mahinda Rajapaksa the President of Sri Lanka at the presidential secretariat. |
