Students’ canvas of appreciation

Today is the final day of artist and teacher Madhava Arunashanta’s exhibition of his students’ work at the Lionel Wendt Gallery. This exhibition titled “Art Sir’s Art Students 2009” is the first in a series of events organised by the Colombo College of Design for this year showcasing the art and design works of primary level, O-Level , Advanced Level and adult students.

Arunashanta celebrates ten years of teaching art. A BFA graduate of the College of Art, University of Delhi, he has worked at the Lyceum International School, the Academy of Design, and currently heads the Art Department at the Colombo International School.
