Native flavours at Keells Resort Hotels

The season of holidays, sweetmeats and festive fun is here and John Keells Resort Hotels has several exciting ways to make the most of it. On all weekends throughout the entire month of April, guests could treat their families and themselves to an unforgettable holiday filled with a little bit of everything for everyone.

Among the activities scheduled to make weekends more enjoyable is ‘Cooking with the Chefs’. The Chefs at Keells Hotels are preparing their lessons for any willing students who wish to try their hand at some recipes.

‘The kids will be well taken care of, too, at the ‘Strictly for Kids’ child care area. A special corner has been arranged with a professional carer who will keep the kids occupied during a specified period of time, while their parents enjoy a few hours of blissful relaxation. A host of games and activities such as painting, getting messy with chocolate making, cartoons, learning more about nature and many more fun activities have been planned to keep the young ones happy and busy’ said Anoushka Fernando, the PRM of the chain

The games of the Avurudu season are some of the most enjoyable to both the young and the not-so-young and at Keells resort hotels, all guests will get the opportunity to take part in the fun! Pillow fighting, tug o’ war, chakgudu and kana mutti are just some of the games planned for the new year weekend, along with the ever-popular ‘Avurudu Kumari’ pageant that is sure to be a highlight of the celebrations.
Enjoy the holiday season with Native Flavours at the Cinnamon Lodge, Chaaya Village, Chaaya Cotadel, Bentota Beach Hotel, Yala Village and Coral Gardens.
