Among the activities scheduled to make weekends more enjoyable is ‘Cooking with the Chefs’. The Chefs at Keells Hotels are preparing their lessons for any willing students who wish to try their hand at some recipes.
‘The kids will be well taken care of, too, at the ‘Strictly for Kids’ child care area. A special corner has been arranged with a professional carer who will keep the kids occupied during a specified period of time, while their parents enjoy a few hours of blissful relaxation. The games of the Avurudu season are some of the most enjoyable to both the young and the not-so-young and at Keells resort hotels, all guests will get the opportunity to take part in the fun! Pillow fighting, tug o’ war, chakgudu and kana mutti are just some of the games planned for the new year weekend, along with the ever-popular ‘Avurudu Kumari’ pageant that is sure to be a highlight of the celebrations.
