With a double role, Ranjan Ramanayake plays the lead opposite newcomer Udari Warnakulasuriya and the film will be released in Savoy Colombo and other EAP circuit cinemas following ‘Sir Last Chance’ which is now being screened.
A talented cast including Sriyantha Mendis, Rathnavalee Kekunawela, Bimal Jayakody and Tharuka Wijeratne, Pubudu Chathuranga, Chanchala Warnasuriya, Anushi Warnasuriya, Lal Kumara, Srimath Indrajith Liyanage, Panduka Sri Dayan and Norman Palihawadana will feature in the stellar cast while Dhammika Siriwardena produced it for Alankulama Films.
Story of G. Wickremanayake revolves around a young girl who initiates a mission to find a son for a worried mother and a father for a little daughter who yearns for fatherly love.
The film is titled after a song written by well-known photographer and lyricist Padmakumara Mettasena ‘Paya Enna Hiruse’ and is sung by Superstar famed Amila Perera to the music composition of Rohana Weerasinghe.
Along with Mettasena other songs are penned by Kelum Srimal and Nandana Wickramage and playback singing by Mahesh Denipitiya, Uresha Ravihari and Irosha Aluthge. Channa Wijewardana and Shan Perera handled the choreography while Ayeshmantha Hettiarachchi was the cinematographer, Ravindra Guruge editor, Chandana Weerasinghe art director, Indika Udaralanka was the make-up artist and Ashoka Ariyaratne is the production manager. Ashoka Ariyaratne is the Executive producer while Donald Jayantha assisted for the direction of ‘Paya Enna Hiruse’. |
