Old Maristonians Inter batch Sports Carnival 2009 |

Inter batch Sports Carnival 2009 Organized by Maristonians Sports Association will be held at the Marist Stella College Grounds on the 26th April 2009 from 7.30 am onwards. The organizing committee expects a crowd of over 1000 to be present for the event. According to the organizing committee the response so far has been overwhelming.
This is a unique event and it is also a great opportunity for the old boys of Marist Stella College to meet and renew the old friendships. Matches will be organized between the respective batches in Cricket, Football, Volley ball and basket ball. So far 28 batches have confirmed their participation in this inaugural inter batch sports Carnival. Carnival atmosphere will be created with DJ music, Papara bands and food stalls. Medley relay and Tug of war has also been included to add color to the event.
Evening party is also organized for the old Maristonians to continue the fun filled day till late hours of the evening. The past Sri Lankan fast bowler Graeme La Brooy will grace the occasion as the chief guest.
