Seen here is a rare sight of flowering tea trees and tea seeds (inset) at the Tea Research Institute’s tea ‘germplasm,’ at Talawakelle, Nuwara Eliya. These flowering tea trees are used for Sri Lanka’s tea plant breeding programmes.
