Romesh and Lahiru put Ragama CC on top

The foursome of Romesh Buddika, Lahiru Thirimanne, Shivanga Ranasuriya and Sameera Soysa put Ragama CC on top against Saracens SC at the end of the first day’s play in their Under 23 Division One inter-club cricket encounter played at Reid Avenue. Romesh cracked 107 which included 16 boundaries and two sixes and Lahiru slammed an unbeaten 105 with seven boundaries and two sixes while Shivanga and Sameera contributed knocks of 59 and 66.

Kasun duo steers Kandy YCC

Kasun Alwis and Kasun Ekanayake cracked tons to steer Kandy YCC to a strong position on day one in their Under 23 match against Panadura played at the Panadura Esplanade.

A six wicket haul by right arm off spinner Sanjaya Fernando was the highlight of the opening day’s play in the Under 23 encounter between BRC and SSC played at the BRC ground.
