2 years on, marching to the beat of victory

Thousands of security force personnel and police, clad in full battle gear did the March at the Galle Face Green promenade on Thursday, as part of the massive show to mark 'Victory Day' - the second anniversary of defeating the LTTE.

The battle clad security force and police personnel were part of a wider show that included displays from the Air Force and Navy, while President Mahinda Rajapaksa took the salute.
