Rajans make mincemeat of Lumbini

The Rajans who enjoyed 95 percent possession went on a scoring spree to decimate a hapless Lumbini side by 104 points (13 Goals, 2 Tries, 1 Penalty) to nil at Bogambara.

Winger Lahiru Fernando (3), skipper and centre Miyura Hewawasam (2), winger Janaka Biyanwila (2), centre Dilanka Madusanka (2), Rochana Ekanayake (number eight 1), full back Tilina Wijesinghe (1), Rochana Hettiarachchi (1), Isanka Manamperi (lock – 1), winger Sahan Wijesuriya were the try scorers. There was also a penalty try awarded by referee Aruna Jayasekera.

Full back Tilina Wijesinghe put over 13 conversions besides his own try to rake in 31 points single-handedly. - AK
