Seer sees peace
in SL soon
By Chandani Kirinde
A leading Indian astrologer has predicted success for the peace
process in Sri Lanka and said the sound of the gun will soon become
a relic of the past.
In an interview
with The Sunday Times, Prof. Kanan Parthasarathy who is a leading
astrologer in Chennai predicted that the planetary transition which
took place on June 30 after a period of 12 years, is highly favourable
to Sri Lanka.
"Sri Lanka's
prestige will rise to dizzy heights. The leaders responsible for
peace will get global recognition," Prof. Parthasarthy said.
He said the
voice of the common man had been heard and the leaders would respond
to this and peace would become a reality in the country.
He also said
there was good news for the country especially after July 23 when
after a further planetary change most of the financial woes of the
country would ease.
"The prices
of goods such as diesel, petrol and other essentials will come down.
There will be many reforms that will benefit the common man,"
he said.
Prof. Parthasarthy
also said that Sri Lanka will regain its lost glory in the field
of sports and succeed in international events like the Olympics.
He also said
that relations between Sri Lanka and its neighbour India will continue
to grow and strengthen.
"The people
will strengthen the hands of the country's leaders so that there
will be political stability in the country," he added.
