Fruity option to healthy life

What wouldn’t we give to be perfectly healthy? With all the ailments of the modern day, how can we be sure of the drugs we use, let alone their harmful side effects? Can the Biopathy Medical System (BMS) be an answer to this?
Founder of BMS, Prof. Akira Osato was in Sri Lanka recently to share his knowledge about Biopathy (meaning therapy for life). Discovered in 1969, the system gained recognition only in 1996 after extensive research and experiments that established its scientific basis.

The focus of Dr. Osata’s study had been to find ways to remove the root cause of disease so that it never returns. Believing that most ailments are caused by stress, he cites cancer as an example, saying, “Even if you remove the growth by an operation, it can reappear later at another point.” Further he cautions people against radiation and chemotherapy, which are strong methods that upset the balance in the body.

Biopathy on the other hand takes a nutritional approach, the medicine packing into tablet or powder from the goodness of Papaya. “It is all very natural – fermented Papaya made from the Carica Papaya that is grown in the Philippines,” Dr. Osato explains. If taken as prescribed, disorders ranging from tumours to migraine, he says would gradually disappear, the length of treatment depending on the person’s condition. Dr. Osato claims that the therapy is effective for treatment of arthritis, asthma, brain tumours, cancer, diabetes, epilepsy, falling hair, heart diseases, hypertension, skin disorders, thalassemia, thyroid, migraine and neurological disorders.

It is believed that the immune system endows living organisms with a dynamic natural healing ability. Nevertheless stress of various origins – chemical, physical, psychological and environmental, can weaken this, resulting in damage that is manifested as illness. If we switch to natural medicine, the body’s immunity works better without losing any energy. Hence Biopathy’s natural medicine is a method of treatment, which aims to restore the body to its fundamental state. “It is an internal cleansing of the blood and organs,” Dr. Osato says.

Dr. Osato has taken biopathy to patients in Russia, Italy, France, Slovakia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Hawaii, Taipei, Papua New Guinea and the US. “It is difficult for people to accept this treatment right away. All I can say is try and see,” he says.

Having opened in Nugegoda two years ago, the Sri Lankan Biopathy unit has treated several patients, even those with brain tumours. “As per our system there is no recurrence,” explains Biopathy medical doctor, Alanton Weerasinghe. In addition, several young girls suffering from asthma were cured within three months, he says.

Dr. MA Lourdes A. Besa (an MD from Philippines), explains how at her clinic in the Philippines, they have successfully treated ailments such as arthritis, diabetes, malaria, hepatitis, asthma and dengue. “Regardless of the severity of the disease, the condition can be cured – at any stage,” says she.
There is an abundance of papaya in the country. Can’t we just eat more of the fruit? “Eating papaya is certainly good. But each sachet of the medicine containing 3 mg is very potent, equivalent to 10 kgs of papaya of the specific variety,” Dr. Weerasinghe says.
