A policeman is seen extending a helping hand to a Thomian
supporter who was left bleeding after he was attacked
by a private security guard at yesterday’s Royal-Thomian
Battle of the Blues. Spectators said action by the security
guard against the reveller was heavy-handed and unwarranted
while others said the deployment of private security
guards was better than the presence of military police
personnel at the ground as was the case in recent years.
