Countdown
for crown has begun The grand finale of the Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe contest will be held on March 25 at Galle Face Hotel. The 12 finalists are now undergoing rigorous training from 5. 30 to 7.30 p.m. each day at Galle Face Hotel where they are being drilled in three aspects of being a beauty queen — catwalk, speech and dancing. The contestants receive instruction from former Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe Rozanne Dias as to how they should face the pageant while main choreography and production is handled by renowned designer Lou Ching Wong. They are guided in Speech and Communication by Loretta Gunawardene while Dila Hettiarachchi trains them on etiquette . |

has begun. As the mini pageants are worked off in the run-up to
the big event, suspense is building up as to which of these lovely
